Brotherhood of St Laurence Retail Fitout

The Brotherhood of St Laurence faced a significant relocation challenge when redevelopment forced them to vacate their longstanding premise on Brunswick Road. Simultaneously, the Mirabella family decided to depart from their original home in the iconic Sydney Rd building. Capitalizing on this timing, a mutually beneficial arrangement was reached, allowing the Brotherhood of St Laurence to become tenants in the space.

With the opportunity secured, MPE Group stepped in to tackle the comprehensive redesign and construction required to transform the premises into a functional retail space. Their scope encompassed essential updates to meet regulatory standards, including the installation of modern E&E lighting, enhancements to fire services, and the incorporation of DDA-compliant bathrooms and entry ramps.

The project's scope was multifaceted, encompassing the adaptation of the former premises to suit the Brotherhood's needs while adhering to contemporary regulations. MPE Group's expertise was crucial in navigating the complexities of the transformation, ensuring the space not only met the necessary codes but also provided an accessible and welcoming environment for all patrons.
